Being 23 is exciting and pretty frustrating at the same time. You are still very green in many's eyes, yet much is expected of you from the society. Whatever you do, it seems that there are always people out there that don't approve of the way you act, the way you dress, the way you talk and what not.

While you swim in the ocean of endless opportunities, you need to also master the skills of filtering out irrelevant people's comment which is hands down one of the most crucial ones you need in your life. This is a lot easier said than done, it requires a lot of practice and confidence which ultimately act as a guide to bin rubbish comments. Frankly I have yet to reach that point but I am pleased to be getting closer.

"Dress to feel confident" is a hit-home statement to me. I love dressing up not because I want to turn heads on the street but it proves to me and motivates me to be a better, more confident version of myself. I am not implying dressing up is the only way that boosts up my confidence but in different periods of my life, I tend to adopt a different style so that I feel comfortable being that version of myself which is part of finding out who I am. My absolute favourite of this year is bandage dress, there’s something really endearing and empowering about it. On the last day of being a 23-year-old, I slipped into a gorgeous navy blue bandage dress to celebrate my birthday with my friends and family.
